If I had to choose, I would choose the spikes.
Spikes are very heavy, the clothing gives you a completely different look.

DIY.

All you need is embroidery thread, scissors, and any bangle. Start by knotting the string around the bangle, and simply alternate colors as you wrap the thread around the bracelet.
